Directions from Glasgow/Edinburgh Via M8
Leave motorway at Newhouse and follow A73 Lanark through Newhouse roundabout keeping garage on right. Bear left 200 yards past roundabout and through Newmains to roundabout at Newmains Cross. Carry straight through this roundabout, through next roundabout at Bogside, and through the double set of traffic lights at Law House, up Castlehill to the next set of traffic lights at Glamis Way. Turn left (signposted to Peebles) to roundabout at the old High School. Turn right down Chapel Street to the next roundabout at Carnwath Road. By this time you will have seen the United Reformed Church just beyond the roundabout.

Pass the Hamilton cut out, take the first slip road (signposted Lanark), follow the Clydeside till Garrion Bridge, and follow the road uphill. Ignore the right turn to Law and Carluke unless you know the road well. Go through Overtown to the roundabout at Waterloo and turn right to roundabout at Bogside. Turn right past Law House, thereafter as for M8 directions.
